DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: * Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned truck; refer defects or repairs to supervisor. * Operate trucks of various sizes and weights, hauling various equipment, materials, and supplies. * Operate skid steers, power equipment, front-end loader, and hydraulic excavators. * Clean equipment, fuel equipment. * Attention to detail and ability to develop effective working relationships with other employees, supervisors, and the public. QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB: * Possess CDL Class A driver?s license in good standing. * Working knowledge of heavy-equipment operation and observe proper safety precautions. * Clean driving record. * Experience preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Ability to maneuver in and out of various sizes of vehicles. * Able to lift 75 pounds unassisted. * Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
