Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (37.5 hrs./wk.) entry level Recruiter at our Worcester site.

The Recruiter facilitates the recruitment, selection and on-boarding process for managers, internal candidates, and external applicants. Work with leadership to assess staffing/recruitment needs in each department of the organization. This position may source applicants, refer applicants to appropriate hiring managers throughout CHL, follow-up on hiring decisions and coordinate the orientation of new hires as required. Use of recruiting tools including social media desired.

The Recruiter will attend career fairs, organize CHL recruitment events, and provide input in design of recruitment materials and brochures, including print advertisements. The recruiter is a part of the HR team and will be expected to cross train in other areas and fill in as required.

  • Daily use of ICIMS, the Applicant Tracking System, to review open positions and candidate applications.

  • Daily use of tracking system to run reports, monitor hiring metrics, and manage flow of iforms.

  • Prepare new job requisitions, including entering of requisition information into the system, monitoring the approval process, and meeting posting requirements.

  • Assist managers with creating requisitions, using appropriate job description templates, refining wording, assuring correct qualifications for all positions.

  • Ensure compliance with union issues and legal considerations with all job postings.

  • Actively recruit talent for all open CHL positions.

  • Actively review applications and resumes, conduct initial screening of resumes and initial interviews, and coordinate applicant flow to best utilize applicant pool for agency vacancies.

  • Coordinate and attend Career Fairs, both in person and virtual, to maximize applicant flow to CHL.

  • May also be involved in implementing new workflow processes to ensure efficiencies in the process, and implement new system add-ons as required.

  • Work closely with hiring managers to ensure continuous flow of viable candidates.

  • Personal and virtual interaction with potential candidates on phone, walk-in, via recruiting software (emails) and at Career Fairs

  • Actively pursue and maintain relationships with local colleges for recruiting purposes.

  • Act as Liaison with all staffing agencies for temporary and direct hire staffing needs.

  • Cultivate other community relationships for recruiting purposes.

  • Work with Recruiting staff to schedule new hires for Orientation and work with all presenters to ensure a smooth Orientation process.

  • Responsible for presenting the HR portion of Orientation on a weekly basis.

  • Responsible for advertising with newspapers, periodicals, internet, and other social media as approved by VP's.

  • Active interaction with managers and programs to best understand requirement of positions.

  • Maintain Job Description bank for all agency positions, including regular review and approvals.

  • Work with Recruiting staff to verify all credentialing, CORI and Adam Walsh background checks, and driving record checks where applicable.

  • Performs other related job duties.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Requires 1-3 years of experience in Recruiting, preferably in the Health Care Industry and in a high-volume environment.

  • Experience in using an Applicant Tracking System required, experience with ICIMS preferred.

  • Candidate should possess excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and exceptional communication skills.

  • Must have a current valid US-issued driver's license and a registered, inspected, and insured automobile for work related purposes including travel to job fairs and travel between work sites

  • Must be able to pass a CORI background check
