Robert Half Payroll Clerk in Worcester, Massachusetts

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Clerk in Worcester, Massachusetts. This role is crucial to our operations and involves managing data submissions, acting as a liaison between clients and vendors, and ensuring accuracy in all transactions. You'll be working closely with various departments, bringing your keen eye for detail and technical proficiency to our team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily data submissions to third-party vendors, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Act as a bridge between clients and vendors, facilitating effective communication and accurate data submission.

• Monitor and process payroll transactions, ensuring all employee payments are accurate and timely.

• Conduct Risk Assessment Audits, identifying potential errors and implementing mitigation strategies.

• Handle banking transactions, working directly with clients to resolve any issues that may arise.

• Manage the bank account responsible for issuing employee checks, ensuring funds are available and transactions are processed correctly.

• Collaborate with vendors, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring data accuracy.

• Reconcile bank accounts regularly, identifying any discrepancies and resolving them promptly.

• Manage vendor relationships, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

• Perform account reconciliation, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date. Requirements • Proven experience in a payroll clerk role or similar

• Proficiency in payroll software and other relevant systems

• Familiarity with bank reconciliations and bank account reconciliation procedures

• Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships effectively

• Strong understanding of payroll vendor operations

• Solid numerical and analytical abilities

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of applicable laws, codes, and regulations related to payroll processing.
