Our client, in Worcester, MA. is seeking a Converting Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have Production experience which will align successfully in the organization

Job Title: Converting Operator 2nd Shift

Location: Worcester, MA.

Pay Range: 22

What’s the Job?

• Accurately identifies the typical coated or laminated materials and supplies to verify against the work orders and process folders.

• Requires knowledge of the various converting machines and basic troubleshooting procedures.

• Defined work orders to determine converting requirements as prioritized by a supervisor, however, independent judgment is often required to make adjustments to machinery.

• Utilizes skills in adjusting machinery to assure proper converting while avoiding product damage

What’s Needed?

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, job folders and memos required

• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance

• Performs basic math calculations, by hand and by computer, to include conversions, weight measurements, volume and distance.
