Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a part-time (18.5 hrs/wk) Clinician in Worcester, MA.
PASSages is an intensive, short-term (2-4 week), inpatient treatment program for men and women 18 and older who suffer from substance use disorders but do not require detox. The program provides individual counseling sessions and comprehensive case management services to each client along with at least seven treatment groups per day, run by all team members. PASSages is an exciting, dynamic environment in which all members of the multidisciplinary team work together to ensure the best outcomes for our clients. The Clinician provides psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, individual counseling sessions and discharge plans for a caseload of between 4 and 8 clients per week. They provide group therapy sessions to clients and keep necessary documentation for all client contacts and interventions. They assist other staff in supervising the unit and holding clients accountable to rules and expectations. Clinicians will also attend individual and group supervisions as well as team meetings.

Weekly clinical supervision to meet clinical licensing requirements
Provide counseling services to clients with substance abuse and mental health issues. This involves facilitating groups, writing behavioral treatment plans, insurance reviews, individual counseling, and participating as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
Conduct client evaluations including bio-psychosocial assessment, diagnostic formulation and initial treatment recommendations.
Facilitate psycho-ed and rehabilitation groups using standard group techniques.
Meet with clients for individual counseling to assist in attaining treatment goals.
Write treatment plans including client’s strengths with behaviorally based goals and objectives.
Document progress of goals and objectives in progress notes.
Maintain productivity standard as set by supervisor.
Attend all scheduled meetings on time and remain for duration of meeting.
Participate in agency committees, or community education as assigned.
Be an active participant in the multi-disciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
Recognize and seek consultation as needed.
Develop a training plan to enhance professional growth.
Refer clients to appropriate resources within and outside CHL.
Follow all policies and procedures of the agency.
Work assigned hours, which may include rotation of weekends and evening hours.
Participate in utilization management, employ CARF standards and assist as needed in re-accreditation processes and perform other related job duties.

C04: Clinician II:Bachelor’s Degree required in social sciences, CADC or LADC preferred
C08: Clinician III:Masters degree in a clinical course of study in behavioral health (social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, counseling or related field) that meet the academic requirements for independent licensure in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Requires licensure as LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or is actively working towards licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
At least one year of counseling in substance abuse/mental health setting.
Demonstrate a basic, functional knowledge of counseling skills.
Possess a fundamental understanding of addiction and mental health issues.
Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
Experience with an EMR a plus.
Able to conduct a mental status exam and prepare a clearly written request for psychiatric consultation.
Reflect a significant understanding of gender specific interventions and understand concepts of culturally competent practice.
Manage paperwork resulting in completion of paperwork within required time limits.
Develop a strong working rapport with clients, superiors, and peers and participated as a team member.
Maintain the highest standards of ethics and demonstrate professional attitude and conduct.
Must be able to pass a CORI background check
