Community Healthlink Clinical Director in Worcester, Massachusetts

Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Clinical Director in Worcester.

Community Healthlink’s Behavioral Health Community Partner (BHCP) program is a new, innovative Care Management approach for MassHealth members with complex medical, behavioral health and social needs who are part of the new Accountable Care Organization (ACO) and or a Managed Care Organization (MCO).

Multidisciplinary BHCP teams will play a key role in providing high quality integrated care, functioning as a bridge between clients, behavioral health providers and medical providers. Team members will use their expertise to support individuals to navigate health and social systems to help members address social determinants health and improve overall quality of life and health.

The BHCP Licensed Behavior Health Supervisor will manage the BHCP Care Coordination Team. In this role, the BHCP supervisor will help with implementing this exciting, innovative service for MassHealth members with complex medical, behavioral health and social needs. The BHCP supervisor will have experience working in a care management setting with people living with SMI and or SUD. The BHCP Supervisor will assist the Director in developing procedures and workflows that are highly collaborative, instill hope, and most importantly, center on the Person’s strengths.

Oversight of clinical and as needed programmatic operations of the BHCP Program.

  • Provide supervision, evaluation and leadership for program, administrative and supervisory professionals working with populations experiencing behavioral health conditions, substance abuse history, trauma, and social needs determined by social determinants of health.

  • Facilitates ACO/MCO, DMH, ACCS, Health Center, and other clinical provider meeting on a consistent basis to review high risk clients

  • Facilities care treatment team meetings and case conferences as needed with or without the assigned care coordinator

  • Support staff during member related behavioral health or medical crises

  • Facilitate effective communication with providers, consumers, peers, primary care, BH, LTSS specialty providers and other professionals in a manner that is sensitive to the racial/ethnic/cultural/class backgrounds (oral and written).

  • Works with program policies and procedures in compliance with state, Mass Health, ACO/MCO and ACCS expectations.

  • Ensure program staff is trained to work with documented processes with ACO/MCO and DMH care team participation requirements.

  • Participate in hiring, continuous progress review and disciplinary procedures as needed

  • Provide supervision, training, evaluation, performance appraisals and leadership to program staff.

  • Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients, and visitors.

  • Master's degree in mental health or social work. Must be licensed in the state of MA as a LICSW, LMHC Licensed Psychologist or RN.

  • Must have 3 or more years in mental health/addiction treatment experience

  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.

  • Must be able to pass a CORI background check

  • Must have current US issued driver's license and ability to provide a registered and insured automobile for work related purposes including travel between work sites.
