Open Sky Community Services Career Pipeline Program Manager in Worcester, Massachusetts

Salary

USD $28.85/Hr.

Description and Responsibilities

The Career Pipeline Project is a multi-agency effort to create innovative solutions to complex challenges around workforce recruitment and retention in the Human Services and Behavioral Health fields. We are seeking a self-starter with high energy and great collaboration and organizational skills to lead, develop, implement and report on the Project’s initiatives-- a Human Services Career Support Program for immigrants, refugees, underemployed mentoring, skills training and supports to establish careers in the field; Leadership and Clinical Development, Continuing Education and Internships within the field of Human Services. Partner Agencies include Seven Hills Foundation, African Community Education, Southeastern Asian Coalition, Open Sky Community Services as well as other community and academic organizations.

The Career Pipeline Manager will create Human Services Career Support (HSCS) and Training Collaborative programs specific processes, procedures, and systems for provider organizations to implement ensuring consistent implementation of procedures and practices. They will also develop goals, objectives, and systems to collect and monitor outcomes of project initiatives, monitor progress of the Human Services Career Support Program (HSCSP) and the Training Collaborative, implement corrective actions as identified and provide supervision to the Career and Advancement Navigator.

Other Key Responsibilites:

  • Manage the Human Services Career Support Program from conceptualization to implementation and on-going support.

  • Establish practices and guidelines for applicants, managers, and mentors of the Human Services Support Program to meet the desired outcomes.

  • Support, interface, pre -t rain and monitor the managers and mentors of program participants .

  • Act as a liaison between provider organizations, career pipeline workgroups, and all participants.

  • Support provider organizations to design meaningful rotations of participants including opportunities to process the participants’ experience.

  • Oversee the operations of the Training Collaborative.

  • Cultivate relationships with strategic community organizations to strengthen the BIPOC candidate experience and talent pipeline.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.

  • Valid Drives License and acceptable driving record, required.

  • Experience in Human Services field and exposure to varied populations and service structures, required

  • Ability to interface with diverse audiences while maintaining personable, professional presentation and excellent verbal and written communication skills, required.
