Open Sky Community Services Assistant Program Coordinator - Exeter Street (Worcester) in Worcester, Massachusetts


USD $18.50/Hr.

Description and Responsibilities

The Exeter Street program is a nine bed group living environment which serves adults with mental illness and dual diagnosis. This program has a coordinator and staff on site. Staff are available at the program 24/7. Individuals in this program also have support from the integrated team. Services focus on helping people to transition to a more independent environment while maximizing their natural supports by building skills and achieving personal goals.

The Assistant Program Coordinator provides direct supervision to the Overnight staff and takes on a leadership role working alongside Residential Counselors to provide direct support to people served.

Additionally, the Assistant Program Coordinator will:

  • Provide administrative assistance to the Program Manager.

  • Assist with program budgets and scheduling.

  • Documentation, assisting with group therapy, transportation, behavioral intervention, role modeling, and recreational activities.

  • Implement activities that facilitate the development of valued roles and personal relationships in the community.

  • Develop and implement all habilitation, whole life, and other service plans.

  • Participate in supervision, team, and other assigned meetings.

  • This position has on-call responsibilities.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Alternative education/experience in lieu of formal education will be considered.

  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.

  • Reliability, willingness to learn, and being open to new opportunities.
