Elevance Health Senior Learning Experience Designer in WOBURN, Massachusetts

Location: Within 50 miles of any Elevance Health Pulse Point location

Shift: Monday – Friday; 1st shift hours

The Senior Learning Experience Designer is an individual contributor on the CXO L&D Team and will analyze, design, and build content for on and offshore associates. This includes learning continued scaling of redesigned curriculum, content maintenance for new hire, upskilling and cross-skilling programs; development of performance support tools and evolving/digitizing existing learning content. Applying advanced design and technical knowledge they will transform traditional instructor-led content into self-paced, digital, multi-media solutions to reduce business shrinkage and increase associate proficiency. Collaborates cross functionally to design solutions that achieve desired business outcomes, KPIs, associate performance, and digital/operational change adoption. Evaluates solutions through learner feedback, performance and data insights for continuous improvement. Serves as mentor within Solution Design.

There are 2 Learning Experience Designer Sr. positions available for this team:

  • One of the positions will report to Tyler Sparks supporting Commercial Member including National, Local Large Group, and Individual Small Group.

  • One of the positions will report to Felicia Wambach organization supporting Medicare and Medicaid.

How you will make an impact:

  • Collaborates with business partners on expected business outcomes.

  • Participates in needs analysis and recommends effective learning solutions.

  • Collaborates with other content developers, graphic designers, technology consultants, technologists, and other project team members on design, development, implementation, and evaluation of learning solutions.

  • Uses all approved processes, tools and templates to standard for development and reporting.

  • Actively maintains all content.

  • Participates in quality review process.

  • Participates in and contributes to Learning & Development sub-teams, communities of practice, and other opportunities to enhance knowledge and skill.

  • Provides technical direction on design and development of web-based learning technology projects, collaborates with web content owners, graphic designers and other project team members on requirements, design, development and implementation of projects using multimedia software.

  • Facilitates train-the-trainer sessions, meetings and other events.

  • Leads mid-sized learning design and development efforts.

  • Develops sub-project plans, functional specifications, and schedules.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires BA/BS in Computer Sciences, Instructional Technology, or related field and a minimum of 4 years of web design/development experience and a minimum of 5 years experience supporting a training/learning organization; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred skills, capabilities, and experiences:

  • Masters preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $76,480.00 to $126,192

Locations: California; Colorado; Nevada; New York
