American Tower Senior Business Application Analyst in Woburn, Massachusetts

Senior Business Application Analyst (two openings) wanted by a wireless & broadcast communications system provider. Position based in Woburn, MA.

Provide functional and technical expertise within multiple business areas and provide strategic, forward-looking vision when configuring or customizing solutions in order to maintain flexibility and future integration opportunities. Facilitate cross-functional requirement sessions to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements and functional specifications for complex cross-functional projects to design the best solution for business needs. Identify operational inefficiencies, conflicting business practices, and integration issues; suggest alternative solutions to cross-functional problems. Develop productive business relationships and integrate project activities with project team members in order to ensure successful implementation and support of projects. Manage projects in accordance with internal project lifecycle processes. Identify ahead of time any issues with timelines or completion of projects and work with the Project Management Organization and internal customers to address. Provide consultation to internal and external customers to troubleshoot complex user and application problems. Requires Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related field plus a minimum of 6 years of work experience in job offered or as business analyst/ IT Analyst/ Project Lead. Also requires 3 years of experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently): Business analysis and implementation; Oracle SQL Developer; OLAP (Data Warehouse); OLTP (Transactional) databases; Data Warehousing.
