Boston West Veterinary Emergency & Specialty (Natick, MA)

This position is in-person, requiring regular travel between hospitals with approximately 15% remote work

Key Responsibilities:
Empowerment and Support: Serve as the go-to HR resource for employees and managers, fostering an inclusive culture, and addressing workplace concerns promptly and effectively.
Strategic Collaboration: Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to implement HR programs seamlessly, ensuring effective communication and anticipating challenges.
Employee Relations: Proactively manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, providing guidance, conducting investigations, and collaborating with HR Business Partners and legal counsel as needed.
Performance Enhancement: Coach leaders through performance concerns, facilitate performance reviews, and ensure fair and equitable treatment across all levels.
Compliance and Analytics: Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations while leveraging data and analytics to drive meaningful insights and strategies.
Compensation:
$85k - $95k pending experience and skill set.
Qualifications:
Experience and Education: Bachelor's degree + 2 years as a Generalist. If no Bachelor's degree, then 5 years in HR/Generalist role.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office applications and HRIS systems; Ceridian experience is advantageous.
Proactive Problem Solver: Navigate ambiguity with ease, handling multiple tasks, and prioritizing effectively.
HR Expertise: Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws, with a knack for navigating ambiguous situations.
Empathetic Leader: Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, fostering trust and collaboration across all levels of the organization.
