American Tower Human Resource Business Partner in Woburn, Massachusetts

The Team

We are seeking a Human Resource Business Partner to join American Tower’s Human Resources. The Human Resources team partners with all cross-functional organization leaders on strategic direction for their resource strategy. Day to day you will provide Human Resources support to various business units. As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will partner cross-functionally to deliver excellent Human Resources support and drive success by providing a best-in-class employee experience.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience including employee relations, talent management and training required.

  • Experience supporting employees located in multiple locations preferred.

  • Approximately 10% travel may be required in support of the position’s responsibilities.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.

  • Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to achieve results effectively and professionally.

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.

What You Can Offer Us

  • Assist in the development of strategic Human Resources programs that will engage, develop, and retain employees.

  • Provide coaching to management on addressing employee issues such as performance while effectively mitigating risk.

  • Resolve complex employee relations issues in a balanced, fair, and objective manner, using appropriate counseling, investigative, intervention and mediation techniques. Coach management on Human Resources best practices.

  • Active participation in the screening, selection and on boarding of new employees. Partner with hiring managers and recruiting to ensure sourcing and assessment processes are on target.

  • Identify opportunities for employee, manager, and leadership development. Facilitate training programs such as New Hire Orientation, Performance Management, Career Development, etc.

  • Lead annual performance review process; partner with management to ensure clear and consistent feedback on performance.

  • Other duties as assigned.
