HR Strategy & Transformation Program Leader

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Must reside within 50 miles/1 hour commute of the posted Elevance Health locations .

The HR Strategy & Transformation Program Leader supports the HR Strategy & Transformation team by strategizing, managing operations, and supervising projects to meet organizational goals and initiatives. This individual contributor will act as a connector within the organization, serve as a consultant for the team, foster a high-performance culture, and work in direct alignment with leadership in various engagements.

How you will make an impact:

  • Serves as a SME regarding improvements of end-to-end processes enterprise wide, with integration points in key business areas.

  • Builds consensus across organizational functional areas, lead root cause analysis, uncover trends, contribute to solution definition, and determine best practices both internally and externally.

  • Identifies and resolves tactical and strategic, high-priority organizational and business issues. Works closely with leadership to develop strategic plans and initiatives, providing guidance, insights, and perspective.

  • Leads the development of new functional processes, reporting, IT system changes and business practices.

  • Oversees operations in coordination with leadership, ensuring that resources are being utilized effectively and contributing to the implementation of policies and practices.

  • Manages critical organizational projects and institutional initiatives. Tracks progress, resolves problems, publishes progress reports, recommends actions or changes.

  • Prepares agendas, ensures pre-meeting materials are prepared and distributed, captures meeting minutes, assigns, and tracks follow-up actions.

  • Acts as a liaison for leadership in communicating with internal departments and external stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires a BA/BS in Organization Development, Management, HR Development or related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise wide training; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Proficiency in developing, articulating and visually depicting strategies and plans

  • Experiencing leading large enterprise-wide projects

  • Strong communication skills with all levels of stakeholders

  • Effective coordination and management of multiple tasks or projects

  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to navigate ambiguity and adopt to frequent change.

  • Strong relationship-building skills, ability to engage and communicate with diplomacy across HR teams

  • Strong data analytics capabilities, ability to leverage data to derive meaningful insights and inform recommendations for action

  • Human-centric approach and strong change management skills

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $127,680 to $218,880.

Locations: Hanover, Maryland; District of Columbia (Washington, DC); New York, New York
