Job Description

We are looking for a Lab Manager for a government defense contractor. The Hardware Integration and String team is responsible for maintaining the lab environment and ensuring that the Systems and Software Engineering teams have the necessary technology, hardware and related equipment to do their job. This team is responsible for working closely with IT and coordinating the installation of all hardware. This team is responsible for hardware configuration and working with IT to install the OS. This team leader will also be heavily responsible for all incoming and outgoing inventory. This individual will be responsible for tracking this inventory and providing constant oversight. This lab is extremely fast paced and has many moving parts therefore we are looking for a candidate who comes from that background. This team is responsible for reporting back to management, moving equipment in and out, shipping equipment to test sites, working to manage incoming visitors and clients who want to see the Lab. This role requires a candidate who has managed a fast paced lab environment that supports development and testing procedures.

The pay range for this role be 45-65/hour.

Skills and Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance

• 5+ years of experience managing a lab environment

• Experience managing a fast paced environment, specifically that supports development and test initiatives

• Experience with hardware configuration and installation, coordinating inventory deliveries and shipments, and ability to interact with customers - Previous engineering lab management experience

• Open to IT Lab or NOC Management as well null
