Robert Half Benefits Administrator in Woburn, Massachusetts

Description We are in search of a Benefits Administrator to join our team in the Healthcare and Social Assistance industry, located in Woburn, Massachusetts. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting with the administration of health and welfare and 401k benefit programs, responding to benefit inquiries, and processing benefits enrollments, among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to staff by addressing and resolving benefits-related inquiries promptly and accurately.

• Aid in the administration of health and welfare and 401k benefit programs.

• Comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations in administering employee benefit programs.

• Act as the primary contact on the benefits hotline, providing timely and accurate information to plan participants.

• Process and review benefits enrollments in the HRIS to ensure vendors receive accurate information.

• Work closely with the Benefits Manager and the Director of Benefits & HR Operations.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records.

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Use Microsoft Excel to run reports and manage data. Requirements • Minimum of one year experience in a similar role or related field

• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian

• Experience with Cisco Webex Meetings and CRM systems

• Strong auditing skills and understanding of benefit functions

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Prior experience in benefits administration

• Knowledge of Human Resources (HR) Administration

• Familiarity with HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare or hospital environment

• Experience in the social assistance sector is a plus

• Must be able to prioritize tasks and work independently

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Willingness to stay updated with changes in healthcare regulations and benefits administration practices

• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and departments.
