Job Summary

We are seeking aBusiness Analyst Co-Opfor our Corporate IT Finance/ Operations team to be locatedremotely. The purpose of this Co-op position is to provide meaningful professional, hands-on experience to students with proven academic performance and leadership potential. Ideal candidates will utilize and further develop finance functional and technical skills, business knowledge, analytical techniques and creative problem-solving abilities along with organization and presentation skills. The assignments will be carried out in a variety of work environments, such as contract lifecycle management systems, project management applications, and an array of financial systems.

The following are the responsibilities related to thePortfolio Analyst Co-opposition:

  • Financial support:

  • Manual follow-up and detail capture for FY cost savings

  • Assist in data compilation and data scrubbing of financial dashboard, including but not limited to: capitalized labor, contracts, purchase spend against budget, forecasted spend

  • Project support:

  • Administrative support for project set-up in new PM tool

  • Assist in transitioning projects and data from current PM system to new PM system, including back-up of relevant project data

  • Contract support:

  • Assist in maintenance of Contract Lifecycle Management process, including uploading applicable documents, communications, and entering respective notes

  • Data entry to in-house CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) System

  • Customer & operational support:

  • Answer invoice related questions

  • Support the IT requisition process

  • Other operational tasks as assigned

Job Qualifications

The following are the minimum requirements related to thePortfolio Analyst Co-op position:

  • Education: Completed at least 2 years of undergraduate school, preferably in a business focused field

  • Experience: 1-2 years of hands-on business experiencepreferred. This can be through work study, interning, or other co-op roles.

  • Abilitiy to work a minimum of 15-20 hours per week.

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Problem-solver

  • Smartsheet and CLM experience a plus, but not required

  • Ability to read and understand contracts
