Job Summary

The Client Engagement and Marketing Specialist will play an integral role in the execution of marketing plans related customer engagement. This position is responsible for collaborating across several departments to gain insights in order to and develop and execute marketing campaigns that promote and drive demand for our products.

This position will be supporting Charles River's Cell Solutions business line and is fully remote, work from home office.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Implement and develop targeted Outbound lead generation programs to generate marketing qualified leads through frequent customer contact and cold/warm prospecting. Utilize data mining and lead generation software tools, publication reports, lead lists, LinkedIn, etc. to find and contact prospective new clients.

  • Triage/monitor Inbound Sales leads to the BDE team as required; both leads generated from the Charles River website and other platforms (Scientist.com, Science Exchange).

  • Utilize SFDC, Pardot and our marketing KPI Dashboard to monitor performance, evaluate effectiveness, quantify ROI and optimize for future projects.

  • Receive Maestro leads and reach out to prospective clients. Triage to sales team as needed

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to engage and help develop account-based marketing campaigns in the various customer segments to nurture new and existing clients. Such projects could include mail merge campaigns, creation of personalized marketing materials and the organization and running of bespoke client webinars.

  • Monitor datamining platforms (eg. Scileads) and set up alerts for newly funded cell therapy (or other target) companies and execute initial outreach as required. Triage responses to the sales team.

  • Engage with first touch clients through implementation of engagement studios (eg. email auto responder from web forms) working with strategic marketing to define the scope and content.

  • Support Marketing and Sales to launch and promote new services and products.

  • Collaborate with Product Management to research and develop Lead gen projects for target products and client segments.

  • Collaborate and assist with Event specialist on virtual and in-person event logistics and management (webinars, seminars, workshops, chapter events, conferences, etc.).

  • Ensure a competent and professional image to the customer and an accurate portrayal of business strategies both on the phone, email and at customer events.

  • Maintain a working knowledge of all company product lines with more in-depth knowledge of business segment that is being supported.

  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Licensure

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A /B.S.) or equivalent in biological sciences, marketing, business, or related discipline.

  • 1-2 years experience in biological sciences or 3-5 years related experience in marketing or customer services.

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute.

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge in biological science and/or drug discovery industry

  • Knowledge of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/social media etc.) and market research methods.

  • Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools.

  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite, CRM)

  • Ability to quickly learn new software and applications

Compensation Data

The pay range for this position is $57,900K - $71,500K USD annually. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
