Town of Wilbraham Public Safety Nework Systems Analyst in Wilbraham, Massachusetts
PUBLIC SAFETY NETWORK SYSTEMS ANALYST EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Broad responsibilities include; maintaining, troubleshooting, securing, and expanding a Microsoft and Cisco based information technology (IT) infrastructure to meet the current and future needs of Wilbraham\'s regional dispatch and public safety departments. Working with regional dispatch member agencies to ensure 24/7 connectivity and reliable access to shared resources. Supporting and coordinating all aspects of the Town\'s Public Safety technology systems, including but not limited to; creating virtual servers, managing storage systems, installing operating systems and software updates, providing technical end-user support, working with vendors to resolve development problems, providing enhancement recommendations to vendors, and providing end-user training to maximize use of products. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Communications, Business, or related field and 3-5 years of Public Safety technology system administration and development related experience, or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience. Knowledge of complex enterprise networking, network security, and communication systems.
