Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Weymouth, Massachusetts. This role is primarily responsible for managing day-to-day tasks such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), data entry, purchase orders, and reconciliations. The successful candidate will be working on-site for 24-32 hours per week over 3-4 days.

Responsibilities:

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks

• Perform data entry tasks meticulously

• Manage purchase orders efficiently

• Conduct regular bank reconciliations

• Prepare accurate journal entries

• Assist in the month-end close process

• Utilize software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP effectively

• Maintain General Ledger accurately

• Resolve credit inquiries from customers

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action for delinquent payments. Requirements • Proficient in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with General Ledger management

• Ability to process and record Journal Entries

• Capable of handling Month End Close procedures

• Experience with NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP software

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Adherence to strict confidentiality and ethical standards

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
