Kelly Services National Sales Manager - Technical Manufacturing in Weymouth, Massachusetts

Are you an experienced National Sales Manager from the world of Electronic / Technical Manufacturing looking for a new opportunity? Do you have the technical hands-on leadership experience to lead Regional Sales Teams to the next level?

Kelly is thrilled to be partnering with a leading New England manufacturer on their search for a National Sales Manager in Weymouth, MA . This is a Direct Hire opportunity with a starting salary of $140,000 - $150,000 , a solid bonus structure, and a comprehensive benefits package. In this role you will hold total responsibility for sales and marketing with a thriving and modern organization.

Please note: this position is a combination of onsite in Weymouth, MA as well as approximately 25% - 50% travel.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Top-tier organizational leadership to ensure employee participation, training, innovation, and continuous improvement

• Development and implementation of sales policies and procedures in partnership with the Regional Sales Teams

• Implement and execute departmental budgets and goals

• Hands on management of all sales associates and resources with a focus on visiting customers and reps. Audit the effectiveness of the RSMs and the sales process for continuous growth

• Form product line strategy with supporting systems and processes to accumulate needed marketing information

• Monitor and report on bookings to forecast and set proactive product line strategies with major market segments

• Develop annual advertising plans and budget

• Manage commission policy, sales credits, performance assessment, and actions to achieve company sales objectives

• Oversee training programs that support both Customers and Manufacturing Representatives

• Develop product pricing to maximize sales and profitability and manage the customer contract pricing process

• Communicate with senior leadership on an as needed basis

Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with an MBA highly preferred; equivalent industry experience may be considered

• Minimum 5 years of Technical hands-on experience required

• Technical proficiency and the ability to learn new products and solutions

• 10 + years of Sales and Marketing Management experience required

• Willingness to work onsite in Weymouth, MA and approximately 25 - 50% travel – this company does not embrace work from home out of fairness to the employees working in the manufacturing facility
