Citizens Transformation Program Manager in Westwood, Massachusetts

The Transformation Manager will play a key role in supporting Citizens Transforming Data & Analytics Program which will change the operating model across the enterprise. As a member of the Transformation Office, the Transformation Manager will partner with workstreams and business lines to drive progress towards the delivery of key milestones. The Transformation Manager will be responsible for activities related to supporting program delivery including managing dependencies and removing blockers. The Transformation Manager will work closely with business line leadership and stakeholders to create business cases that align with strategy, work with teams to develop clear execution paths related to both business and data requirements and calculate investments/benefits to support the rollout of new operating models. The program support can take many forms and may align with specific workstream as needed, but is primarily focused on project and program management, stakeholder management, and general program support for transformation and change initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor end-to-end delivery against transformation program milestones to ensure outcomes are on time and comprehensive.

  • Engage stakeholders across multiple business areas to ensure alignment and accountability.

  • Partner with Business Leaders, identifying data and analytics use cases, creating business cases with robust detail that will be used to drive execution, and have a clear understanding of how these use cases fit into the overall business strategy and objectives

  • Identify potential business problems and propose effective solutions.

  • Analyze data to support business case arguments and outcomes

  • Interpret enterprise data solutions and data sets leveraging experience in regulatory and financial attributes

  • Work in collaboration with Data & Analytic leadership and cross functional teams to estimate and size investments, calculate value, and drive program outcomes.

  • Create documentation and present to leadership for support and prioritization that align with overall business strategy.

  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure delivery output

  • Identify and document process improvements related to date and analytics

  • Mobilize subject matter experts throughout the enterprise to contribute to delivery of milestones and program objectives.

  • Support the Program workstreams responsible for the delivery of Transformation outcomes.

  • Support change management and communications that enable our colleagues to navigate through the transformation.

  • Act as an advocate for change, leading significant change efforts as an SME.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree: advanced graduate degree preferred (but not required)

  • High level of accuracy and attention in detailing business strategy related to Data and Analytics

  • Strong writing skills and ability to clearly articulate business cases.

  • Strong data and product knowledge

  • Financial Acumen

  • Strong awareness of stakeholder requirements and organization context- active listening skills

  • Big picture thinking

  • Experience in developing white papers

  • Ability to identify potential issues, develop solutions and implement change effectively

  • 7+ years’ experience in project/program management, colleague engagement, strategic communication, organizational change management, or transformation initiatives

  • Proven track record of delivery possesses a results-oriented mentality and is highly effective at coordination, execution, and follow-up focused on the critical priorities to drive positive results.

  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills including the ability to influence and develop trusting relationships with business leaders and cross-functional teams across multiple levels of the organization.

  • Effective communication skills informed by excellent listening, influencing and perception skills.

  • Ability to clearly articulate message to a variety of audiences and stakeholders

  • Proficiency with MS Office applications required; Atlassian applications a plus (Jira, Confluence)

  • Comfort handling ambiguity and managing multiple assignments as priorities dictate.

  • External and/or internal consulting type experience preferred.

  • Familiarity with project ma nagement approaches, tools, and phases
