What you will do
The Total Rewards Director will be responsible for leading the US and Canada’s compensation and benefits strategy focused on ensuring the total reward package drives a culture of engagement.
Compensation & Benefits
Subject matter expert on compensation and benefits/rewards for US and Canada.
Partner with the Global Compensation & Benefits/Rewards leader to build infrastructure, programs, and policies aligned with the company’s growth and scale trajectory to attract and retain top talent.
Plan and oversee US and Canada’s compensation and benefits program. Identify and create best practices, benchmarks, pay structures, and policies to ensure competitive and cost-effective programs.
Provide education and guidance to leaders related to the company’s compensation philosophy and benefit programs.
Responsible for conducting compensation market analysis and identifying market pay adjustments and external salary offers etc.
Manage the administration of all health & welfare benefit plans including, medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, HSA/FSA, and voluntary insurance products.
Lead the annual benefits open enrollment cycle including marketing, evaluation, assessment, and benchmarking, as well as employee education and open enrollment meetings.
Manage benefit inquiries and serve as liaison with insurance brokers and plan vendors to resolve all employee and plan related matters
Manage 401K program.
Participate and/or manage total reward projects as required.
Absence and Accommodations
Manage leave of absence program by effectively interpreting federal and state regulations related to FMLA, ADA, STD, LTD, Worker Compensation, etc.
Ensure proper coordination with other paid time off programs, including workers compensation, and state provided benefits.
Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate payment of leave and other paid time off benefits.
Manage compliance initiatives, including creation of policies and training programs.
Partner with corporate legal to facilitate the development, review, and maintenance of the company's compliance policies and programs.
Responsible for benefits plan compliance, audit, and reporting.
Drive awareness and training with respect to diversity and inclusion.
Manage employee benefits data related HRIS, payroll and benefit carrier integration of systems and data flow.
Support diligence and integration activities for acquisitions.
What you will need
Bachelor's degree in human resources management or a related field.
10+ years of experience as a compensation and benefits manager or in a related role, with at least four years in a leadership role.
Expert knowledge of benefits and compensation programs, policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.
Experience building benefits and compensation infrastructure, systems and policies.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
