Citizens Senior Systems Engineer in Westwood, Massachusetts

3 Days Hybrid from any of our locations in RI, NJ, NC, TX or AZ

Role is not relocation eligible.

As an Endpoint Client Management Engineer, you will be responsible for the protection, integration and upkeep of the critical systems used to support Citizens business operations. Working alongside software, network, infrastructure and cloud engineers, you and your team will support the client platforms, servers and systems that enable the functionality and profitability of Citizens.

Primary responsibilities

· Monitor and ensure high availability and acceptable levels of performance of infrastructure components and mission critical resources such as client operating systems, endpoint management utilities, etc.

· Forecast increased systems traffic and/or demand; recommend solutions (i.e. upgrades, expansions, reconfiguration, etc.) to ensure ongoing accessibility and security.

· Report on client health, stability of systems, compliance to policies, and efficacy of management activities.

· Provide ‘defense in depth’ protection through client operating system patching and vulnerability management, third-party application updates, endpoint hardening, and policy management technologies.

· Design, plan and execute systems tests; Assess the readiness of current management solutions determine the adequacy of technologies and software.

· Provide Tier III troubleshooting support to the IT organization; managing escalating tickets; track and analyze the frequency of high importance tickets and develop solutions.

· Collaborate with other technical teams to offer training, support and technical guidance to nontechnical colleagues.

Work Experience

· Microsoft Windows, Apple Mac client, and iOS/Android

· MECM, Intune, Jamf endpoint management

· Client patching technologies

· Scripting and query creation (PowerShell, SQL, Bash, AppleScript)

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

· Ability to read system logs to identify root cause

· Thorough understanding of Active Directory, Entra/AAD, GPO, Intune and Jamf Policies

· Understanding of Office 365 technologies

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

· Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree with relevant work experience

· 5+ years working experience in client endpoint management supporting an enterprise environment

Hours & Work Schedule

· Hours per Week: 40

· Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8-5 Eastern

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $ 92,000 - $ 1380,00 per year plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
