Lead and coordinate complex, multi-phased software product releases by guiding cross-functional teams in the definition, planning, fulfillment, and delivery of high-quality software.

*Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the Red Hat, Inc. office in Westford, MA.

What You Will Do:

• Oversee all aspects of new and existing programs through the full product life cycle, including conceptualizing, designing, planning, executing, testing, launching, and maintaining company products and services across the product portfolio.

• Develop and maintain the master plan, schedule, dependency log, and status for multiple software product releases.

• Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders while fostering an environment of collaboration, trust, and accountability within and across teams.

• Facilitate recurring team meetings and drive teams to collaborate effectively for final product delivery. Identify risks, issues, and problems in software engineering processes and develop detailed recovery, mitigation, and scaling plans.

• Identify and track cross-product dependencies between various product and service deliverables across the products and technology organization and identify touchpoints between these workstreams through complex analysis and planning.

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Engineering (any) or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related role.

• Must have five (5) years of experience with waterfall or agile methodologies to deliver complex software development programs, or technology-related services or products;

• Must have five (5) years of experience with Jira (or other program management tools) for program or portfolio management;

• Must have five (5) years of experience with risk management at a portfolio level, including identifying, evaluating, and preventing or mitigating risks.

• Must have at least one program management related certification, including Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma Black Belt, Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP), or Prince2.

The salary range for this position is $144,660.00 - $238,650.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
