Insight Global Test Automation Engineer in Westborough, Massachusetts

Job Description

Overview

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer who leverages automated testing to enhance quality and delivery, defining automations role in the testing strategy and enabling frequent releases. They will scope current automation solutions, propose future architecture, tools, frameworks, and team structure, and develop and integrate test automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright. The ideal candidate has a strong background in medical-grade software and hardware testing, test automation, and experience with Azure DevOps and JAMA integration

Compensation:

$50/hr to $60/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  Review and validate current automated tools, support procurement of new tools, and ensure alignment with Companies requirements.

  Define a strategy for automated testing, including best practices and standards, and train team members to execute automated test scripts.

  Run, maintain, and improve automated tests, develop and maintain test cases, scripts, reports, and plans, and evaluate the feasibility of automation.

  Analyze test results, communicate insights, and perform root cause analysis to enhance software quality.

Work across the Solution Delivery function, participate in agile product teams, and maintain testable systems in the lab environment.

Skills and Requirements

Must Have Requirements:

  Minimum 8-12 years working experience as a Test Engineer or similar technical working experience with proven hands-on knowledge and 5-7 years leading a team of automation engineers.

  Strong experience of automation tools and CI/CD solutions.

  Ability to develop and integrate test automation frameworks using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright

  Experience of developing and driving the formation of an automated test strategy. Experience creating and conducting test plans.

  Experience with conducting automated tests.

  Experience collaborating with colleagues from the same and related teams e.g., business functions to meet the requirements.

Experience working with complicated hardware, software and cloud-based ecosystems operating across multiple teams and partner organizations.

Education:

Bachelors degree or higher in computer science, information systems, business administration or other related field (or equivalent and related experience preferred). Plusses

  Experience with AI and integrating AI into manual test process

Experience using medical prototypes such as FHIR,HL7, & DICOM null
