We are seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist for our growing clients in Westborough. The Senior Payroll Specialist is responsible for efficiently managing and executing payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This role includes processing timesheets from an automated time collection system on a weekly basis, preparing tax files for submission to third-party filing services for statutory tax reporting, and assisting with year-end reporting tasks such as W2 processing. Additionally, the specialist will maintain employee payroll records, including those related to employer contributions. The ideal candidate will hold an associate degree or higher in a related field and have at least five years of experience in payroll administration. They should possess in-depth knowledge of federal and multi-state tax requirements. Proficiency in Deltek Time Collection, Microsoft Office, and Power BI for reporting is highly desirable. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in payroll management and tax regulations, capable of working with various software tools to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing.

Requirements • Proficiency with ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Experience with Ceridian and Kronos Timekeeping System

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of Benefit Functions and Check Processing

• Familiarity with W2 processing

• Previous experience in a Payroll Administrator role within the manufacturing industry

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
