We are looking for the right person for our overnight shift.

Hours will be 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM with Alternating Weekends.

This is a great opportunity for individuals who have obtained a psychology degree or are currently enrolled in a nursing degree program.

By joining our team as a Mental Health Technician (MHT), you will have the chance to work closely with patients, supporting both nursing and clinical services in the implementation of effective treatment plans.

As an MHT, your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks aimed at ensuring the best possible care for our patients. This will include assisting in the development and execution of individualized treatment plans, while also documenting the goals and interventions implemented. The role requires a strong attention to detail and a level of compassion, as you will be actively involved in the patient care process.

At Westborough Behavioral Healthcare Hospital (WBHH), we specialize in providing psychiatric stabilization and diagnosis treatments for Children, Adolescents, and Adult populations. Our focus is on creating a comfortable and well-informed experience for patients and their loved ones.

Conveniently located in Westborough, our hospital is near the intersection of Route 495 and Route 9. We operate 24/7 and offer multiple shifts for our dedicated staff.


MHT's will:

  • Conduct patient observation and rounds.

  • Assists staff with patient care while following treatment plans.

  • Observe and monitor patient’s progress and reports observations to staff.

  • Develop a therapeutic relationship with patients while maintaining professional boundaries.

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living skills as necessary.

  • Provide appropriate supervision of patients’ activities.

Requirements

  • Having a high school diploma and a minimum of two years of relevant experience in Treatment is required.

  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred. A degree in Psychology is also preferred.

  • Applicants with previous experience working in a Behavioral Health setting will be given preference.
