What you’ll do

The IT Manager is responsible for implementing the IT technical direction and advancing cybersecurity maturity as defined by the HPI CIO and CISO. This role ensures that these strategies are effectively executed across all HPI subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will oversee the deployment of a Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA Triad) strategy as outlined by HPI’s CISO.

In this role, you’ll also:

  • Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the business goals of the subsidiaries.

  • Ensure the IT infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and secure.

  • Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless integration of IT solutions.

  • Document network and system diagrams.

  • Provide high-level technical support and troubleshooting for complex IT issues. Ensure timely resolution of IT problems to minimize downtime and disruption.

  • Perform routine and scheduled audits of all systems, including backups.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures.

  • Prepare regular reports on IT performance, security incidents, and project progress.

  • Ensure compliance with frameworks regulations such as NIST, SOC, HIPAA.

  • Implement and adhere to all Health Plans, Inc. Policies and Procedures.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role, with a focus on technical direction and cybersecurity.

  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network management, and cybersecurity best practices.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong understanding of multiple environments on premise, AWS, Azure.

  • Strong understanding of network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, PMP) are a plus.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
