Description Robert Half has an opening for an Accounting Clerk to work in the Insurance - Health industry, whose duties will be matching invoices to purchase orders/ vouchers, data entry, and assisting with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). This is a long-term contract / contract position located in the Westborough, Massachusetts area. Do you thrive in an efficient, team-oriented environment? Major responsibilities

• Circulate financial information to journals and ledgers

• Aid Accounts Payable: A/P invoice matching & filing, vendor invoices and disbursement filing

• Work with Accounts Receivable: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance

• Assemble statements and reports that require utilization of an array of sources

• Mend discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts; prepare correction documents as required

• Overall accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects

• Group documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of accounting codes and expenditure codes Requirements - Ability to multitask effectively

• Skilled in Spreadsheet and ERP system

• Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required

• General familiarity with Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of Check Deposit

• Proven knowledge of Excel Formulas

• Automated Clearing House (ACH) experience

• Well-founded grasp of Microsoft Excel

• Strong familiarity with Daily Mail

• Foundational knowledge in auditing

• Bank Deposit experience

• AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
