What you’ll do

Under the direction of the Director, Compliance Benefits, this position is responsible for the maintenance of plan document schedules of medical benefits for client’s Employee Health & Welfare Benefit Plans, utilizing writing, analytical, and strong organizational and administrative skills to ensure ongoing plan changes are made, recorded, and distributed in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.

In this role, you’ll also:

  • Incorporate updated language and provisions related to legally required benefit plan updates and client requested changes for all internal Schedules of Medical Benefits for clients’ Employee Health & Welfare Plans (“Plans”)’, including medical, dental, and/or vision benefit plans

  • Assist ERISA Plan Documents Administrators with miscellaneous Plan related requests, including monitoring monthly renewal changes to ensure they have been submitted, logging and tracking of requested changes and updating and issuing changes for internal departments’ reference

  • Complete various projects, as assigned.

What you bring

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

  • 1 – 2 years of experience in health plan administration, employee benefits, or benefit plan compliance in the healthcare industry

  • Health and Welfare Benefit Plan document drafting experience

  • Education or training related to employee benefit plan rules or other administrative regulations a plus

  • A working knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations a plus.

  • Strong computer skills related to MS Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
