Job Description:

  • Work with the district office manager to implement Waste Connections technologies that will help improve customer experience and create efficiencies, when appropriate

  • Work with the district sales manager to develop marketing materials to promote services to drive sales and improve brand awareness

  • Examples:

  • Create marketing campaigns

  • Create marketing materials such as:

  • Ads for Sponsorships

  • Billing Inserts

  • Digitals Ads

  • Educational Materials for Municipalities

  • Email Blasts

  • Marketing Mailers

  • Welcome Packets

  • Coordinate external special events such open houses & ribbon cutting ceremonies

  • Coordinate internal events such as our company Bike Build

  • Photo / video shoot coordination when necessary

  • Handle website updates when necessary

  • Social Media Calendar & Content Creation

  • Be a community liaison – representing the company at sponsored events to build brand awareness & goodwill

  • Work with the district manager to coordinate community donations, the logistics of doing check presentations, and promoting through the appropriate marketing channels

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience

  • Degree preferred

  • Self-starter with a passion for community work
