Job Description
We are seeking a CAD Administrator to provide system administration for ECAD systems and design analysis applications, including EPLAN. The successful candidate will support various geographical team locations, manage data, offer end-user technical support, and troubleshoot problems. Additionally, they will develop, modify, and implement CAD/PDM/analytical tools software applications, maintain software configurations, and manage revision changes and updates.
Responsibilities
Administer ECAD systems and design analysis applications (FEA) including EPLAN.
Provide system administration and support for various geographical team locations.
Manage data, perform maintenance, and offer end-user technical support, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
Develop, modify, and implement CAD/PDM/analytical tools software applications.
Maintain software application configurations, revision changes, and updates.
Install, maintain, upgrade, and plan implementations of software, including testing new versions.
Develop, maintain, and conduct training sessions, best practices, standards, processes, and EPLAN templates.
Create custom scripts and assist with new employee onboarding, training, and tool setup.
Act as a liaison between Engineering and IT, supporting the IT team for Engineering tools and users.
Coordinate software upgrades and implementations with the IT department.
Interface with vendors and stay updated with the latest industry trends and features.
Essential Skills
BS in Engineering or equivalent years of experience.
2-5 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong ECAD design skills.
Drafting experience with GD&T.
Experience with EPLAN or similar data management systems.
Understanding of the product development process in an engineering environment.
Desire and energy to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
CSWP (Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional) or CSWE (Certified SOLIDWORKS Expert).
Experience maintaining CAD and PDM applications.
Experience in administering SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional.
Experience providing daily technical support for applications.
Experience planning and coordinating implementations or upgrades of CAD/PDM applications, including creating SOLIDWORKS Admin Images.
Experience with PLM applications (Agile, Teamcenter) including the ECO process.
Experience creating SOLIDWORKS macros.
Experience developing documentation, including training materials, best practices, processes, and procedures.
Experience conducting training classes.
Project management skills, including the ability to schedule maintenance, meetings, and time management.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $59.78 - $66.25/hr.
