Summary:
Westborough Behavioral Healthcare Hospital (WBHH) is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our compassionate team of healthcare professionals.
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst at WBHH, you will play a vital role in providing psychiatric stabilization and dual diagnosis treatments to children, and adult patients in inpatient setting. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals struggling with mental health challenges.
Responsibilities
Conduct assessments, interviews, and observations to develop comprehensive behavior intervention plans.
Collaborate with the treatment team, including psychiatrists, therapists, and nurses, to implement behavior support plans that address the specific needs of patients.
Provide ongoing support and consultation to the treatment team regarding behavioral strategies, crisis management, and de-escalation techniques.
Train staff members on the implementation of behavior intervention plans and provide ongoing supervision and support.
Monitor and analyze data to track patient progress and modify intervention strategies as needed.
Collaborate with patients' families to provide education, support, and guidance regarding behavior management techniques.
Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's Degree required
Must have Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification, MA License.
Experience:
Experience working with individuals with dual diagnoses and/or developmental disabilities.
Proficiency in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans.
Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and strategies.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts and handle a fast-paced environment.
