Ameresco BESS Monitoring Analyst in Westborough, Massachusetts

Ameresco is looking for a BESS Monitoring Analyst to work a hybrid schedule that will be tied to our office in Westborough, MA or Pine Brook, NJ. This role is going to be joining our Solar O&M group.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor in real-time BESS sites across the US and provide feedback and insight in a timely manner.

  • Work with BESS Operations Team to dispatch field and emergency service personnel when appropriate.

  • Justify and document technical decisions related to data analysis.

  • Become a subject matter expert by staying abreast of regulatory developments at the federal, state, ISO and utility level.

  • Assist in developing and tracking performance metrics for assets participation and communicate to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Meeting pre-established BESS skill sets through continuous training, courses, and certifications. Assist in preparing written reports, presentation materials, and other project deliverables.

  • Perform other duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, related field or the equivalent relevant work experience.

  • Availability and willingness to work 2 weekend shifts a month.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

  • Ability to work well independent with limited oversight.

  • Demonstrated strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Demonstrated attention to detail and dedication to deliverable quality.

  • Demonstrated excellence in both verbal and written communication.

  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple groups.
