Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

Candidates will be working to support assembly and material handling teams, focusing on production and product packaging. Responsibilities include using hand and power tools to perform tasks on an assembly line, following work procedures to complete builds, and training in shipping and receiving. Additional duties include supporting the warehouse and materials team with shipping inventory and handling materials for the production team. Tasks also encompass robotics assembly and testing, material movement, data collection, manual assembly, component testing, visual inspection, and inventory tracking and reconciliation.

Hard Skills

• Proficiency using a variety of hand tools for large mechanical assemblies

• Dexterity for manual assembly

• Strength and endurance for assembling, installing, and testing components up to 50 lbs

• Use of basic power tools

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and its tools

• Experience with 5S Principles and Kaizen

• Experience with manufacturing execution systems

• Certificate/Degree in electro-mechanical fields

Soft Skills

• Ability to follow work instructions

• Effective communication

• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision

• Willingness to train and learn new duties

• Team collaboration

This is a contract position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Westborough, Massachusetts.

Work Environment

1st shift 6:15am - 2:45pm
