Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Westborough, Massachusetts. The role involves working within our finance department, specifically handling accounts payable tasks. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process invoices accurately and promptly

• Assist with ACH transactions, ensuring they are carried out correctly

• Handle data entry tasks related to accounts payable

• Utilize software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks

• Contribute to ad-hoc projects within the finance department as needed

• Perform check runs to ensure suppliers are paid in a timely manner

• Ensure coding of invoices is accurate and aligns with company's chart of accounts

• Maintain and reconcile accounts payable records

• Assist with invoice processing, making sure all invoices are recorded correctly

• Communicate with customers to resolve any inquiries or issues related to accounts payable. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Account Reconciliation

• Familiarity with Check Runs

• Knowledge of Coding Invoices

• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks

• Proficiency in Invoice Processing

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Oracle

• Proficiency in QuickBooks

• Familiarity with SAP

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organizational skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of standard accounting principles and procedures.
