We are in search of a meticulous and dedicated Accounting Manager/Supervisor to contribute to our team in Westboro, Massachusetts. This role is focused on maintaining and enhancing the financial health of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable as well as the accounting staff. This role is also pivotal in monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate actions when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing of customer credit applications with precision and efficiency.

• Maintain and update customer credit records accurately.

• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly and flag any discrepancies.

• Implement actions to collect delinquent payments when necessary.

• Utilize Great Plains (GPAC) software to manage and track accounts.

• Oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) process.

• Conduct Monthly Accruals and Month-end Journal Entries.

• Manage Month End Close procedures.

• Oversee and manage financial consolidations.

Requirements

• Position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the accounting field.

• Proficiency in Great Plains (GPAC) software would be helpful but is not required

• Extensive knowledge and experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) processes is expected.

• Ability to effectively manage and oversee the month-end close process is crucial.

• Experience in preparing and reviewing month-end journal entries is required.

• Demonstrated proficiency in managing monthly accruals is a key requirement for this role.
