Curriculum Director LPVEC Job ID:4614146 Application Deadline:Posted until filled Starting Date:To Be Determined Job Description The Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment, under the direction of the Executive Director, plans, organizes, and directs the Educator Support aspects of the Collaborative, including curriculum, instruction, assessment, professional development, grant-writing, job-alike groups, and educator evaluation, in coordination with the other directors, supervisors, and Collaborative-wide committees. SEE THE LPVEC WEBSITE FOR COMPLETE JOB DESCRIPTION Required Education 1.Leadership experience in curriculum, assessment, staff development, group facilitation, and using data to improve instruction. 2.Successful grant proposal, partnership development, and program management and evaluation experience. 3.Knowledge of Massachusetts\' education system, including curriculum frameworks, assessment system(s), licensure, educator evaluation, Tiered Systems of Support, social/emotional development, restorative practices, trauma informed teaching, and English Language Learner aspects. Job Requirements 1.Master\'s degree or higher preferred from an accredited college or university in education or a related field. 2.Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education certification/licensure as a Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent. 3.Preferred minimum of ten (10) years successful experience in classroom teaching, administration, school management, and staff supervision. 4.Experience in elementary, secondary, and vocational education. 5.Excellent time-management skills including the ability to triage/prioritize competing needs. 6.Such alternatives to the above as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable. At least 10 year(s) of relevant experience preferred. Master degree preferred.
