Bulk Receiver-Shipper POSITION SUMMARY Receiver/Shipper responsibilities include: provide for proper sampling, temperature, laboratory analysis, unloading, loading and storage of milk, cream or other blends consistent with governmental regulation. As Receiver, provide for proper sampling of product, taking temperatures, ensuring load is received in secured manner, unloading and storage of milk or cream consistent with governmental regulation. Ensure Clean-in-Place (CIP) and manual cleaning of all plant equipment and tankers are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with Pasteurized Milk Ordinance (PMO) guidelines. Professionally interact with haulers and positively represent Agri-Mark in all situations. Operate the HTST pasteurizer. ? Utilize yard truck to move and position tankers as necessary. ? Store products in clean vessels, ensuring that recording charts are properly filled out and installed on recording equipment and vessels are properly rotated to maintain quality and adhere to PMO. Competency in PLC operation is mandatory. ? Cleans floors, walls, ceilings, lines, tankers and vessel cleaning. Operate Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems, including PLC operation, verifying correct time, temperature and solution strength. ? Load finished product onto trucks, ensuring that tankers are clean, product has been properly sampled, laboratory analysis is performed, trucks are properly secured/sealed, weighed, records of such are maintained in a legible manner and shipping documents are complete. ? Ensure that incoming shipments are properly secured upon receipt, weighed, sampled and records of such are maintained in a legible manner. ? Ensure that product not meeting specification are moved from receiving facilities and held for proper disposition. ? Verify that all required documents are filled out properly and are accurate in accordance with Safety and SQF procedures. ? Professionally interact with haulers and positively represent Agri-Mark in all situations. ? Schedule flexibility, willingness to work overtime, weekends, holiday and rotate shift, as required. At times overtime, weekend work, holiday work and shift rotation will be mandatory. ? Adhere to Company rules, regulations and core values, including Code of Conduct. ? Perform all tasks using Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), following the Food Safety and Food Quality requirements of the SQF Program. This includes the requirement to report all safety issues and incidents to a supervisor, or other member of the leadership team, immediately. SKILLS, ABILITIES AND KNOWLEDGE ? Pasteurization operation. ? Milk Receiving Certification. ? Confined Space Certification. ? Work effectively in a multi-tasking environment, work independently and as part of a team, work with minimum supervision and ability to interact positively with others at every level of the organization. ? Detail oriented. ? Identify and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. ? Handle situations or problems that occur with a high level of professionalism and direction. ? Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to read and understand instructions and manuals. ? Basic computer skills. ? Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measures, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS ? Minimum high school diploma, GED or HiSET. ? Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment is preferred, in the food industry would be a plus. ? Experience with manufacturing safety requirements, lock-out/tag-out preferred. ? Forklift certification.
