WEST SPRINGFIELD - Assistive Technology Specialist/SLP Position Highlights The Assistive Technology Specialist is a direct care professional working with members and their families. The goal of this role is to help individuals with disabilities promote independence within their family and community. This position will be hybrid, requires driving to members and has an office in Pittsfield, MA AT Specialist Responsibilities Provide comprehensive AT services including evaluation, training, technical support, equipment recommendations, and documentation for individuals under specific contracts Ensure compliance to contract requirements, meeting process benchmarks, and delivering timely services Train individuals, support staff, and families on the use of assistive devices Collaborate with disability organizations, brain injury centers, independent living centers, and academic institutions on AT services and training AT Specialist Qualifications Degree in rehabilitation science or special education AND current Massachusetts health professional license in one of the following areas: Physical therapy Occupational therapy Speech therapy and/or ATP certification Comfortable with remote applications (ex.
