Rexa, Inc. Final Assembler in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts
The incumbent will build basic to complex units, using precision measuring instruments, hand tools and power tools. Will troubleshoot problems in complex mechanical assemblies as they arise, coordinating with engineering and other departments as needed to prepare units for inspection. RESPONSIBILITIES * Assemble fabricated products, electrical equipment, hydraulic, pneumatic circuitry, and subassemblies according to blueprints specifications. * Ensure proper installation of machine components to achieve proper alignment and operation; test assembled units to ensure they perform according to engineering documents. Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues. * Fasten or install piping, fixtures, wiring, machined parts and electrical components to form assemblies or subassemblies. * Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all safety protocols * Wire electrical boxes to assemblies, bleed, purge air and set unit to cycle. * Lay out job, review inspection sheet, and outline drawings. * Confirm fail direction on all accumulators, and flow direction on valves, including plumbing of tubing. * Build units as required; plumb according to hydraulic layout; to include solenoids, hand pumps, reservoirs, shut offs and flow restricting valves. * Perform visual check and get unit ready for final inspection. QUALIFICATIONS * High School Diploma or GED * At least 5 years\' experience in mechanics or mechanical assembly * General knowledge of computers and office software * Ability to read and understand blueprints drawings, schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, bills of material, and CAD file drawings * Advanced knowledge of mechanical principles, strong analytical and evaluative skills to troubleshoot issues * Ability to use precision measuring instruments, hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks * Proficiency in written and verbal communication * Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and other team members to improve assembly processes and resolve technical challenges. * Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment * Ability to stand 95% of the time.
