Sevita Transportation Supervisor in West Boylston, Massachusetts

MENTOR Adult Day Health, a member of the Sevita family, provides day programs for elders with complex medical or rehabilitative needs. This allows seniors to obtain quality healthcare while remaining active and involved in the community and continuing to live in their own homes. Our programs are staffed with qualified, experienced licensed nurses and caregivers who are trained to provide individual assistance to each person we serve.

Transportation Supervisor

The Transportation Supervisor maintains the day-to-day operations of the transportation department to ensure safe transport of participants and is responsible for coordinating and scheduling transportation.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below:

 Manages the operation of the transportation department.

o Responsible for transportation services budget, tracks fuel expenditures

o Responsible for adherence to DOT requirements including, licensing registrations and inspections.

o Maintains the van fleet

o Selects vendors for servicing, repairs and general maintenance

 Supervises a team of drivers,

o Provides necessary staff development and training to drivers to ensure transportation needs and requirements are met.

 Manages transportation of clients to and from the facility

o Responsible for employee schedules for coverage, and client schedules for pick up and drop off

o Plans daily and weekly routes, appointment schedules, and coordinates transport for field trips.
