Town of Wellfleet Building Custodian in Wellfleet, Massachusetts
The Town of Wellfleet, MA is seeking to hire a Building Custodian in the Department of Public Works. This is a permanent, full time (40 hours per week) Teamsters Union position and includes some weekends and overtime opportunities. Schedule is Wednesday-Sunday (Mon/Tues off) during summer season (Memorial Day - Mid September) otherwise schedule is Monday through Friday the remainder of the year; however is subject to change based on department needs. Responsible for basic maintenance and cleaning of town buildings, including town hall, library, fire & police station, transfer station office/scale house, beach bathrooms/sticker shack (seasonal) and public works building. Performing minor maintenance, including snow removal, on all pavement, cement walkways, driveways and parking lots as directed. This requires a Class D driver\'s license. Experience working as a custodian in the past is preferred. Depending on qualifications/experience, etc. the wage range is between \$27.50-\$29.00 per hour plus an excellent benefits package.
