Position Summary

Consumer Analytics is one of the larger teams within Analytics and Behavior Change where you’ll have the opportunity to drive the next level of AI based data intense product and services.

We’re looking for aspiring engineers to drive member engagement and behavior change in Aetna’s Medicare business using AI/ML, software engineering and data engineering and cloud capabilities.

What you will do:

  • As a software engineer you will build scalable data intensive applications, LLM-powered solutions, APIs/data pipelines and web services.

  • You will deliver innovative solutions to business problems by working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and agile environment.

  • You will be part of a team that values collaboration and encourages innovative thinking at all levels.

  • You will be intellectually challenged to solve problems associated with large scale complex, structured and unstructured data, that will allow you to grow your technical skills and engineering expertise.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of strong experience in modern languages like Python/Java.

  • 3+ years of strong experience in design and development of RESTful APIs, Web Services

  • 3+ years of experience working with Databases (Transactional, OLAP, GCP Native – Big Query).

  • 3+ year of experience writing complex pipelines using Python, SQL and cloud native services.

  • 1+ years of experience with CI/CD implementation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS with quantitative or STEM major (CS, Math) with 3+ years’ work experience

  • Familiarity with frontend technologies such as CSS3, JavaScript, and modern libraries and frameworks such as React, Angular etc.

  • Understanding of architecture best practices to enable data intensive scalable solutions.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a highly matrixed environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • GCP certification.

  • Working Knowledge OF AI/ML models.

  • Medicare domain knowledge

Education

Bachelor’s or equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$111,240.00 - $222,480.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
