As a Lead Director Enterprise Strategy you will be part of our Health Care Delivery Strategy Team, helping shape strategy for our newly formed CVS Healthspire Health Care Delivery business unit including: Retail Health, Accountable Care, Home Care, and Primary Care businesses.

Our Enterprise Strategy team is a small, high-performing group that works closely with senior leadership to pave the way for the future of our company. In Strategy, you will work hand-in-hand with senior business leaders to identify and analyze exciting new opportunities to drive growth and differentiation in a dynamic industry.

This position has a unique opportunity to be on the cutting edge of CVS Health's aspirations to grow our health services and care delivery capabilities. In this role, you will engage across our core businesses, develop strong relationships with senior executives, and provide analysis, guidance, and direction within areas of expertise.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading formulation, preparation and communication of strategic and operational business plans

• Leading cross-functional strategic projects executed in partnership with senior leadership

• Leading research associated with business issues and plan formulation, including development of business cases

• Effectively facilitating large scale meetings and strategic workshops, including preparation and driving tangible outcomes

• Stimulating strategic thinking in support of business direction

• Developing communication vehicles (e.g., presentations, speeches) to help senior executives communicate strategy with internal and external audiences, including our C-Suite leaders and Board of Directors

You will be working in a hybrid role (3 days a week onsite) in one of the CVS Health offices in Hartford, CT; New York, NY; Chicago, IL; Wellesley, MA; or Woonsocket, RI.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years Leadership experience in consulting, investment banking, healthcare strategy or operations role in an analytical environment

• 4+ years experience building and evaluating financial models and quickly developing executive-level presentations and support material to successfully implement strategy

• 3+ years experience developing analysis, presentations and support material to successfully implement strategy or change initiatives

• Strong business acumen and analytical skills

• Experience with mid-sized cross functional initiatives, with a high degree of complexity

• Ability to identify, structure and solve business problems

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication and presentation skills

• Ability to interact with senior leadership and lead meetings/facilitate strategic workshops

• Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Highly prefer background with payor or provider organizations and specifically value-based care

Education

• Undergraduate degree

• MBA or equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$100,000.00 - $231,500.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
