Jewish Family and Children's Service Marketing Specialist in Waltham, Massachusetts

Job Title: Marketing Specialist Hours: Full-Time (36.25 hours), Hybrid: 3 days per week in office Reports To: Director of Marketing and Communications Overview of Position Ready to harness your marketing skills for social good? Jewish Family & Children\'s Service (JF&CS) seeks a creative and versatile Marketing Specialist to join our Institutional Advancement team. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications and working together with the Marketing Coordinator and program leaders, this role will support the marketing and outreach needs of social service programs across the agency, with a particular focus on our fee-for-service programs. As a nonprofit, JF&CS offers many services to the community for free; our fee-for-service programs provide access to quality services for people who can afford them while helping to subsidize services for people with financial need. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in marketing/communications, a creative mindset, and a collaborative work style. With over \$30 million in revenue, 40 programs, and 14,000 clients, JF&CS is a complex nonprofit organization, and this role offers a unique combination of marketing challenge and social impact. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with program staff to create and execute marketing plans that drive engagement and revenue. Create compelling content for various channels, including digital, print, social media, and email marketing. Analyze marketing data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and inform future strategies. Assist in managing the organization\'s website and social media presence. Coordinate with external vendors and partners as needed. Provide support for other marketing initiatives as required. Knowledge, Experience, and Skills Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent. 3 or more years of experience in marketing or communications (may include internships). Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills. Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media, email marketing, SEO). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and project management skills. Passion for the mission of JF&CS and a commitment to supporting our diverse programs. Skills and Competencies: Specialization or interest in a specific aspect of marketing (e.g., digital marketing, content marketing, public relations, graphic design). Experience working or volunteering in a nonprofit or social services environment.
