We are a leading healthcare analytics company dedicated to improving the intersection of healthcare and technology through innovative solutions.

Our team is focused on developing a data warehouse to gather, analyze, and present clinical data to our internal teams.

Discover Impactful Work:

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled intern to join our dynamic team this summer. The ideal candidate will be pursuing a technical degree in engineering or computer science and will have completed at least two years of college education.

This internship will offer the opportunity to explore cutting-edge ML and AI technologies and apply them in real-world healthcare analytics scenarios.

A day in the Life:

• Assist in the design, development, and implementation of data pipelines to ingest, process, and transform data from various sources.

• Collaborate with the data engineering team to optimize and improve existing ETL processes for efficiency and scalability.

• Conduct data analysis and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data.

• Assist in the maintenance and management of databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.

• Support the integration of third-party data sources and APIs into our data ecosystem.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs.

• Assist in the development of data models, schemas, and data governance policies.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and apply them to improve our data infrastructure.

• Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and code reviews to contribute ideas and insights.

• Complete assigned projects and tasks within established timelines and guidelines.

• Promote and adhere to best practices for data engineering and Glue, Lamba, PySpark , RDS development.

• Promote data best-practices across the organization and help build a “culture of data”

Keys to Success:

Education

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, having completed at least two years of study.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Familiarity with SQL query language

• Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts & ETL processes.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred knowledge of:

• Apache Spark

• Cloud Platforms (AWS)
