About the Role:

As a Compensation Analyst you will support the Total Rewards team strategies, processes, and guidelines to positively contribute to the colleague experience. Provide analysis and interpret data for end-to-end projects with HR Business Partners, aligning with key critical initiatives and annual goals. These projects could include: pay analytics of specific populations, sales plan analytics and review, total rewards harmonization, job architecture, and job evaluation. Provide support throughout the annual processes, review and approval of compensation changes, rewards & recognition spend & analytics, and other day-to-day operations.

How will you make an impact?

  • Annual Total Compensation Process: Support the development and implementation of Thermo Fisher’s annual merit cycle in close coordination with functional leaders, business human resource teams, and managers.

  • Compensation Consulting: Work under the supervision of the Director, Compensation for assigned businesses to provide compensation support ensuring accurate and efficient implementation of all corporate policies and procedures related to salary administration, incentive and equity plan design and implementation. Ensures that compensation solutions are efficient, market driven, support business goals and strategies and are in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and policies.

  • Project Management: Act as a project member on various compensation projects

  • Communication: Develop communication materials and supporting analysis for presentations to VP, Total Rewards and Senior Executives

  • Company Representation: Represents and promotes Thermo Fisher Scientific and its core values (Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, Involvement) in total rewards seminars, compensation functions and during all contact with internal partners and external vendors.

How will you get here?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Human Resources, Management or other related field

  • 5+ years of Compensation experience or experience in a related field

  • CCP and/or GRP certification a plus

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Proven understanding of HRIS systems (reporting, maintenance, etc.); Workday experience a plus

  • Broad-based & sales compensation knowledge

  • Excellent hands-on project management experience

  • Attention to detail, flexibility, ability to prioritize and take initiative

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data, recognize and communicate trends, and develop material to present key data elements including PowerPoint

  • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills

  • Strong skills with Excel formulas, models, regression analysis, graphs, etc.
