Commonwealth Financial Network Account Manager (Digital Focus) in Waltham, Massachusetts

As our account manager, you will be the point of contact for various advisor digital marketing needs. You will be working with Commonwealth’s financial advisors, who are among the nicest and most successful people in the industry.

Reporting to the manager of advisor brands, this job requires strategic thinking, knowledge of digital marketing best practices, and strong project management and communication skills.

Key responsibilities

  • Thinking strategically, with the ability to deliver expert consultation and marketing solutions

  • Understanding financial advisors’ business to develop impactful websites

  • Managing projects and owning the process from strategy to execution, including crafting strategy briefs, understanding objectives, consumer needs, overall scope, and meeting timelines

  • Leading with expertise and confidence

  • Facilitating the coordination of different teams and clients to deliver streamlined marketing solutions for advisors

  • Using data to support initiatives and showcase ROI

Core strengths

  • Ability to develop outstanding client relationships through strong interpersonal skills

  • Solid understanding of best practice consultation on digital marketing

  • Ability to work across multiple concurrent projects of various size and scope, driving consistent and high-quality deliverables

  • Experience consulting on website strategy and general website design and UX best practices

  • Strategic thinker; adept at articulating benefits and differentiators

  • Cross-functional collaborator; ability to contribute in a team environment

  • High-energy business partner with a positive attitude

  • Superior attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Team management experience

Additional skills and knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related discipline

  • 7+ years’ experience in marketing strategy and marketing communications

  • Experience in client account management and project management with a creative agency (in-house or external)

  • Commitment to providing indispensable customer service

  • Experience using Workfront or similar project management tool

  • Intermediate knowledge of Google Analytics
