Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Bank Teller role located in Walpole, Massachusetts. This position will revolve around providing courteous and professional customer service, processing customer transactions, balancing and reconciling daily cash settlements, and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. You will be expected to maintain an updated knowledge of products and services while working within the banking industry.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers attentively and process their transactions

• Serve as a general information resource for customers, answering their questions, directing them for further assistance, and referring them to the platform for sales opportunities

• Ensure compliance with all Bank Secrecy requirements during customer transactions

• Balance cash drawer accurately and efficiently on a daily basis, resolving any discrepancies

• Respond courteously and timely to all telephone inquiries

• Process night bags and assist customers to the safe deposit box area

• Sort and file documents, settle and maintain ATM, assist in statement rendering, and operate coin machine

• Exhibit a high level of accuracy and detail-orientation during all tasks

• Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiently to perform tasks and communicate effectively

• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, patience, and a willingness to help others in problem-solving while maintaining a positive attitude.

Requirements

• Possession of at least 1 year of experience in a Bank Teller role or similar

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word

• Demonstrated ability in handling cash activity and bank transactions

• Familiarity with closing processes in a sales environment

• Proven experience in handling customer complaints effectively

• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and contribute to the overall success of the team

• High attention to detail and ability to multitask

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure

• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
